It’s been a while since the last news update. The Quilt has been steadily growing and I awakened this morning with a clear thought to bring the Quilt to Little Grandmother ( Keisha Crowther, Shaman and Wisdom Keeper of the “Tribe of Many Colours.”)

Many thanks to Little Grandmother for her encouragement and support; and for her blessings for the Quilt and its future journey. She also provided me the opportunity to speak about the project.

Since that day the Quilt has been “taking on a life of its own

Mum found her element in making dolls.  She proceeded to make another 20 dolls with my sisters joining in on another day.

The amazing women in South Australia have also been working lovingly on making dolls.  I feel so humbled by the extraordinary power of women when we come together.  Below are photos of some of the South Australian girls and the many dolls they are making.
